More About Robin Hall

I grew up in Southern Indiana and attended Jennings County High School in North Vernon, Indiana. After graduation I attended Indiana University Bloomington where I completed my degree in Finance from The Kelley School of Business. And later went on to achieve my degree in Law.

I founded Premier Wealth Advisors where I serve as the Founding Partner, Executive Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer. I have also served as a financial and investment executive at Merrill Lynch, and other prestigious financial institutions. I also have been honored to receive numerous national accolades and recognition for my accomplishments in providing wealth advisory services.

I am a lifetime member of the Indiana University Alumni Association and financial supporter of the Indiana University system. My unique experience propels me to seek a position on the Board of Trustees to ensure transparency, so Indiana University meets the needs of the alumni, faculty, staff, taxpayers, and most importantly students.

Why Vote Me?

Given my commitment to Indiana University and my background and experience,

I believe I will bring a fresh and unique perspective to the Board of Trustees and Indiana University.

Board Transparency

I will put an end to the Board of Trustees’ careless disregard for the rules and statutes regarding the Board’s transparency for which it has already been reprimanded for twice. I believe the Board has a responsibility to its stakeholders to conduct business in as full view of the public as possible as they are funded by the taxpayers. I strive to ensure responsibility both socially and fiscally through my position on the board.

Quality of Education

I want to encourage IU to provide the absolute premium education possible to all students. Students should have the opportunity to learn from and work for leaders in their fields. I also hope to eliminate the ever-growing incorrect impression that IU’s regional campuses do not provide a high quality education for its students, and award students the increased flexibility to take classes anywhere within the IU system—to take advantage of the unique opportunities offered at each IU campus.

Financial Acumen

With decades in the financial sector and having started and managed my own wealth advisory firm has provided me with the necessary financial acumen to oversee IU’s financial structure. I am well acquainted with the fiduciary responsibility required when spending other people's money–like taxpayers. I pledge to ensure responsible and transparent usage of taxpayers money.

Pro-Student

IU’s greatest responsibility is to its students. My hope is to streamline and simplify the overall student experience from enrollment, to transferring campuses, internships, and career assistance and support. IU needs to focus on providing an easily accessible education platform   with abundant opportunities to prepare students for the jobs of tomorrow.

Investing in Education

My work in the area of education includes supporting several school board candidates in the Indianapolis area who share my intense commitment to improving education and supporting the school districts. My personal experience includes teaching business law and similar classes on the Indiana University Indianapolis campus as an adjunct professor. I have also provided instrumental early-stage funding to a student-based research project at Indiana University- Indianapolis focused on researching and developing artificial retina, as well as funded a variety of scholarships for interns through project STEM and SEED. When it comes to education I have a history of putting my money where my mouth is:

Vision for IU

I am looking forward to creating a path forward for the university to become the IU we all know it can be. A huge portion of my goal is to prepare IU and its students for the future. I will build a framework where each student can excel in the pursuit of their education at all campuses within the IU system while remaining a viable option for all students to seek an education regardless of socioeconomic barriers. IU should endeavor to serve the state of Indiana in the education of our students which in turn will improve the economy and quality of life for all Hoosiers. I plan to align IU in a position where it can continue to evolve with the rapidly advancing world around us.
